- Piping hot herbal tea goes perfectly with a brisk fall morning
- Teaching eager (and some not so eager...) music students
- One of my longtime friends is getting married on a beach in Florida next month, and I'm thrilled that it's going to work out to attend. (What to wear to a beach wedding in November?!)
- My woolen fabric is all sewed up and I just need to take pictures to post.
- Vegetarian Falafel wraps
- A gorgeous Christmas paisley waiting to be sewn up into a Gracie apron.
- Older, mother-like women at church who pray with and for me.
- Candles (favorites this season from B&B Works: Sweater Weather, Leaves, Marshmallow Fireside, and Nutmeg & Spice)
What are some of little things in your life that causes you to be grateful or happy about?

Counting blessings is always a good idea. So here are a few of mine:
1. The lovely warm drink commonly (redundantly) called chai tea.
2. My wonderful piano, truly God's gracious gift. (not so little, but hey... maybe I should make that the hours I can take to practice...)
3. Crisp fall mornings, and the promise of an upcoming vacation to more fully enjoy them.
4. Colorful sunrises.
5. Rustling leaves.
6. Books that are friends.
Oh, and the beach wedding attire, if I were the one deciding what to wear, I would check the average and extreme weather for that date and plan either a modifiable option or one outfit for each possibility. There's nothing like trying to enjoy an event when you are supremely uncomfortable due to temperatures... my unasked 2 cents. :)
