To all you dear ladies and friends who read my blog, Happy Valentines Day! And just as a "special" for today everything in my etsy shop can be ordered with FREE shipping!
We don't go "all out" but we do enjoy making cut-out cookies decorated with Valentine colors and shapes, and this afternoon I'm going to go through my scrap bin or stashed fabric to make something up in pink.

On a random note, I was thrilled to find this tea (which all I've heard is postive remarks!) at a local discount grocery store. $3.29 isn't to bad for 240 bags of tea all the way from England! My poor mother was shocked that I bought yet another box of tea. I have such a huge collection that I know longer can store mine in the kitchen cupboard. Yes, I have that many. =)

Wow that's a lot of tea! :) Do you have a lot of varieties you like to use and try, or do you 'collect' it? I know you like to drink tea, but do you consistenly drink from your collection?? My mom drinks a lot of tea but she normally has just 1-2 varieties she really likes and goes through lots of them.
I love to try different varieties, Celestial Seasonings being my favorite herbal teas, and anything from England for my black teas.
And yes, while I do drink from my collection, I do have a couple favorites, one being Mint Green tea from the aforementioned company, and Good Earth's herbal tea. I have sweet memories from my childhood of my Dad ordering the latter, iced, at a Good Earth resturant, and being allowed a small sip of it once he was pretty much done with it. =)
As a reader from the United Kingdom (where PG tips comes from!) I can assure you that it is great tea, and the stuff I drink/post to my American friends.
My mother-in-law is from England, and that is her very favorite tea. She brings it home in her luggage. Enjoy the best!
I'm a PG tips fan, too! :-) I wish there was more of it in the States. And Cheri, honestly -- can you ever have too much tea? ;-)
Happy Valentines Day!
Yours in Christ,
Shannon
I have that tea also, which I bought at a little English tea shop in San Antonio. It does taste good. But my favorite is still one which Anna from Pleasantview posted about: Cream Earl Grey from the English Tea Store. It's like having a fine dessert!
PG Tips is a good brand. Yorkshire Tea and Twinings are also good, but avoid Tetleys and Typhoo!
Shannon,
Thanks for the reminder! ::winks::
YayaOrchid,
Do you have a link to the Cream Earl Grey from the English Tea Store? I am a regular reader of Anna's blog, but somehow must have missed that post!
Oh my goodness, I LOVE this tea. I got addicted to it while living in England. So lucky to find it so cheap! I bought 80 tea bags from World Market for $6.99. So you got a splendid deal!
Mmm...enjoy!
Cheri,
I too am a tea drinker. I only drink health teas (no tannic acidic teas). Since I drink it almost every day, at least 32 ounces a day, my teeth have really been getting discolored! I don't want this to continue but don't want to stop drinking these teas either. Hmmm...dilemmas.
um..Lyon's tea is much better.I bypass the PG tea every time for the Lyon's.*shakes head*
