Well dear ladies, it is to late to start on it now so I'm off to fix a cup of tea and find a good book to read, or watch a bit of my favorite movies; Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea.

Old Fashioned Coziness
Darkness has fallen and with it we are getting a sweet gentle rain. It is a bit chilly, and so I grabbed a sweater and headed down to the sewing room. I've decided that my next project (not sure what it will be yet! Any suggestions?) will include this fabric, that creamy collar, and those six vintage buttons.

Beautiful fabric and buttons! I am planning on making a 1950s jumper with a twirly skirt once I get the pattern in... maybe the fabric would look good with something like along that line! (I'm actually planning on making mine in similar fabric to that. :-) )

Thankyou, Melanie, for the great idea! But for reasons two-fold, I probably won't do a 50's style only because I don't have any 50's patterns, and the full skirts wouldn't be very flattering on me. =) I hope your's will turn out fabulous thought!

Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea are some of my favorite movies too! I also am looking foward to seeing what you come up with! I love the fabric, the lace and the buttons!
Oh I love the Anne movies too! I think maybe something like the S&S blouse, but with your pretty, lace collar. Oh, and those buttons are just incredible!!
For clarification, I meant the Romantic blouse, I think with the short sleeves. :) I can't wait to see what you decide to do!
