Every time I go to the closet that holds my historically-inspired clothing, or when I type in "ebay.com" into my browser, I get this awful feeling and then back out on listing something.
I thought that maybe it would help selling one item at a time; you know, sort of ease my way out of these lovelities (is that a word?). The first to go was going to be my Titanic "Swim Dress" (here and here for pictures) but now I can't even bring myself to even list this one!
Who would have thought that one could get to attached to clothing! Is this pathetic?!

While I haven't contemplated selling any of my historically inspired outfits, I think I would have the same problem! :-) When you put that much work into something (and you like it!) it's hard to part with it!

I've only sold historically inspired clothing of mine, if it no longer fits. :)
Your gowns are so beautiful though! I definitely think you should at least keep your favorites. Even if you have no where special to wear them right now, you might need them in the future and they will make wonderful heirloom pieces to hand down to daughters/granddaughters in the future.
Sarah Jane,
I only have one problem. *All* of them are my favorites! =P LOL! I have a feeling that one of these days I just need to bite the bullet and do it.
