So. Several weeks ago I bought many yards of Candy Pink and White (cotton) shirting fabric just because it was SUCH a steal to buy it. And I have several ideas, thanks to the dresses that Pleasant Company, aka, American Girl used to sell in their catalog.

the bottom one is cute :)
Oh, I love the AG dresses! You should do Kirsten's. It has magnificent sleeves. :D
I agree with Su, Kirsten's dress.
Cindy
A girl at a famous summer-show was wearing the dress at the top, only in pink/white, and with short puffy sleeves. Everyone adored her and wanted to have that dress!!
Even though Kirsten is my favorite (and was the companion of my childhood!), I have to vote for Samantha's birthday dress...mainly because Samantha's is supposed to be striped, whereas Kirsten's is supposed to be pink and white checks. But...it would be cute for either! :-)
I say Kirsten's. She's was always one of my favorites along with Samantha.
Wow, those images bring back the good ol' days! I haven't seen those girls in ages! I'll bet those models are nearly 30 by now.
April is right; technically Kirsten's dress is gingham, but it is a cute style! I'd vote for Samantha's dress -- it is so sweet.
Hmmm, if I were to go by votes, Kirsten's would win. =) I have patterns that I could mix-match that would enable me to makes her's more than Samantha's. But April and Laura are right, the striped fabric looks more like Samantha's. Although this is cotton, whereas in 1904 it probably would have been a silk or taffeta.
Today I'll probably go through my patterns and start working on it.
Ooops! Counting Sarah's vote, it would be a tie.
Well, it will one of the two. =)
