Summer in the Black & White

When I bought the fabric online, I had absolutely no clue that the print would be so ... so monstrous! If you're a fan of black and white stuff, you'll be happy to know that I resisted the great temptation to add some color to it. =)
You don't have to ask, because it's in the shop!

And a big thankyou for all of your kind notes and comments in my previous post. I'm not giving up on sewing entirely (that would be impossible, I think!) but due to higher desires, it will definitely not be on the list of priorities. As I'm able, I'll try to keep this updated to some extent. =) You have no idea how thankful I am for all of your encouragement and support!

pretty!

btw, Cheri, I *love* my Gracie apron I got from you the other week. I've been caught wearing it all day long, cause it fits so nicely and I just feel happy when I'm wearing it. =) The colors are just to my tastes, and everything about it makes me know it'll be a favorite apron for a long time... Thank you for your time making it! You do an excellent job.

And I'm glad to hear that you aren't giving up on the blog or sewing. True, I believe we need to have moderation in all things and maintain balances, and know that in different seasons God leads us to pursue different things. So, it'll be nice to hear an occasional update from you!

Blessings!

Monstrous?? Well, whatever the fabric is, the apron is cute!! But then I tend to be a black/white kind of girl. :)

And if you ever stop sewing altogether and completely, you should keep the blog up as an archive...you've documented too much work on here to just deprive us of it altogether. :)
